Delivery Policy

 

How much will delivery cost?

Orders of the amount of £300 or more will be delivered FREE of charge, the offer is available to most  parts of mainland UK, Orders under £300 will incur a delivery charge, the actual delivery fee depends on the on the product(s) being ordered. Addresses which fall under the following postcodes will incur an additional delivery fee: IV, PH & AB, PA, IV, KW KA. We do not delivery to offshore islands, or northern island. The exact fee charge will be detailed in the checkout.

 

How long will my order take?

The amount of time your order takes to be delivered is dependent on a number of factors, including payment clearing, order processing, dispatch of goods and time taken in transit, on some products this can be a little as 24hours and on other made or order pieces of furniture it can take as much as 13 weeks, though the latter is very rare. Each product has indication of the amount of time in which you will receive your order, however you after you have placed your order you will receive an email giving you details of your delivery.  If you order multiple items in an order please take the longest delivery timescale as your expected delivery duration, you may be able to split the order if there is a significant difference in the timescale of the products you have ordered, call us on 01924 565115 for more information.


Delivery Times

We use carriers to deliver our products to you; they delivery between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday. We do not allocate a timeslot for your delivery, however we able to give you a more specific information regarding your delivery on the day, call us on 01924 565115 or email us to find out more.


How your order is delivered

Your order is delivered by our delivery teams or our logistics partners; it may also be a one or two man delivery depending on your order. You will be notified by email one day prior to your delivery. Our delivery team will deliver your furniture to the ground floor of your home, if your home is flat above ground floor, the delivery team will deliver to the ground floor of your building. Large, heavy or bulky furniture can be delivered right into your home, an additional courier fee would be payable, you must notify us prior to the dispatch of your order to ensure we arrange a two man delivery.


Making life easier

You can make life easier for you and our delivery team by ensuring certain precautions are in place to allow for your new furniture to be delivered to you without any complications. We suggest you prepare the area around where the new furniture will be place, whether its replace the wallpaper you intended on replacing the wallpaper on the wall behind where your new wardrobe will be or have the laminate installed before heavy and large furniture in built to stand for many years to come. Ensure all passageways, access points and hallways and free from obstruction and the space where your new furniture will be coming into is also clear.

 

Signing for the delivery

Once our delivery team have delivered your goods, you should check the number of packages received against the driver’s delivery note. You should also check the packages for transit damage, tears and dents. If the packages show signs of transit damage you must note the drivers delivery note ‘as damaged’ and sign to confirm you have received the goods.


Items damaged in Transit

Whilst we assure you we take the greatest of care when delivering your new furniture and likewise we partner with carriers trained to handle furniture from time to time things do go wrong. If after removing all packaging you find that damage found on package has penetrated through to the product inside you must notify us of the damages within 24 hours, you can email us or call us on 01924 565115.


Missing items

If packages or items from within the packages are missing you must notify us of missing items within 48 hours of receiving the goods. Within the packages will be the instructions booklet containing a list of all the items which should be included within the packages, from the instructions booklet you will need to quote the part number of the missing item. If it’s packages which are less than the stated amount on the delivery note you must note the delivery note as ‘missing package(s)’. You can email us or call us on 01924 565115. We will source and replace any missing parts as quickly as possible, however on some items this can mean having the part manufactured and can take between 2-6 weeks, although the latter is very rare.


Cancelled, changed or missed deliveries

If you need to cancel a delivery or change a delivery day or address you must notify us prior the order being dispatched you can do this by email or calling us on 01924 565115. Providing your order has not been dispatched we can re-arrange the day of delivery or the address where it is being delivered to.

You will be notified of the day of your delivery at least 1 day in advance, you must ensure there is someone present at home who is able to check the packages for damages and sign to accept delivery of your order. If you are not at home we will not leave your order with a neighbour unless we have written permission from you to do so, our carrier will return your new furniture back to us and it is likely a re-deliver charge will be charged to attempt delivery again.
